BE2WEEN - Bridging Enterprises To empoWer Environmental and Energy Networks -is an initiative financed by the “Specific Actions - Matchmaking events” programme. Its objective is to promote business cooperation activities among Enterprises Europe Network partners to facilitate business, technology and research agreements by implementing matchmaking events – focusing on environment, water treatment, recycling, waste management and renewable energies – among enterprises.

Technology Event run by the Staffordshire Technology Alliance Group (S.T.A.G.) in conjunction with Microsoft, Cisco and Blackberry and the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce. This event will present some fantastic educational and inspiring speakers, a unique networking opportunity and a play time session to check out the latest gadgets, where there will be a FREE iPod prize draw.

September 26th, 2010Calling all cyclists! Have you and your colleagues got what it takes to ride an official stage of The Tour of Britain? Once again The Tour of Britain has teamed up with The Prostate Cancer Charity to bring TOUR RIDE 2010 to Stoke-on-Trent this September 26th. Here's the chance to test your endurance over 161km, challenge yourself over 80km, or bring whole family along to take part in one of our Family Rides and enjoy a fun-packed day in Longton Park.
FREE Job Fairs at Staffordshire University
October 6th, 2010Staffordshire University is offering free places at the annual student Jobs Fairs, to enable local businesses to come on campus and recruit students for part time and Christmas staff. The event is being run by the University JobShop and the Fairs run from 1100 to 1400 on the following dates: Wednesday October 6 at Stoke Campus and Wednesday October 13 at Stafford Campus.

If you’re up for a challenge, then the Drop from the Top abseiling event is for you, and you can raise funds for your local St. John Ambulance at the same time.
SSCWP Employer Conference
October 13th, 2010Wednesday 13th October 9-4pm at Staffordshire County Showground. Theme: 'I did it my way' - Approaching the sunset of life'. Around 300 managers and owners from the care industry are expected at the event. Stands are now available for any companies who provide products/services to residential, nursing and domiciliary agencies within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
